Why the name Sublime?
When having to decide on a suitable name for our consultancy, we were looking for a word that would best represent us as an organisation and what we can offer to our clients. After vigorously searching through the internet and coming across a multitude of words and definitions, we finally came across a word we felt best resonated with us and our overall brand image of innovation, creativity and excellence - sublime. According to the Cambridge dictionary (2017), sublime means “of very great excellence or beauty”. If you think of innovation you will come to see that innovation is not only just a science but it is also an art. Innovation is a science with rules, processes and established tools that requires the participant to think like an artist and execute work that is pleasing to the eye.
Regarding our brand, we feel sublime is the perfect name for us because we as an organization want to deliver work that exudes excellence and that portrays beauty in the way it is delivered to all stakeholders. Sublimes mission as an agency is to live up to our brand name and help other companies expand their offerings and image by helping them innovate within their companies.
Our Slogan:
'The Start of Something Spectacular' was chosen in order to reflect the dedication we show towards our brand, our business and our clientele. Our focus was to reiterate that we will help them transform their business into something absolutely amazing, innovative and spectacular. As an innovation consultancy, we wanted our slogan to reflect the promise we have made to our clients - to help them alter their business for the better, and effectively start something spectacular within their business.
Our Logo:
Sublimes brand logo is a simple black tree with different fingerprints that stand in place of the leaves. When creating the logo, we didn’t want to base the look of it on our name but rather on who we are as a team and a family. The tree symbolizes the environment and how we work towards being environmentally friendly within all our endeavors and how we aim to remain green and embrace a naturalistic approach. The notion of the tree also stems back to the idea of a family tree. At sublime our employees are not just seen as members of our team but rather as family. The fingerprints which stand in place of the leaves symbolize our unique identities, characters, skills and traits. It symbolizes all of our differences. Although we see ourselves as different, we are all still part of one tree. We share the same roots and have a shared vision. We are one.
